Which currency will I pay in?
Prices are shown in rupees in India, in euros in Europe, in pounds in the UK and in US dollars everywhere else, chosen from where your connection comes from. A business pays in the currency of the region where it is established, and any tax due on the plan is shown before you pay. Outside India prices exclude VAT and sales tax; a business in the EU, the UK or the Isle of Man adds its VAT number and is billed under the reverse charge.
Do counter and phone orders count towards my allowance?
One allowance for every order, however it arrives. Online, at the counter or by phone: every order lands on one board and counts once towards your monthly allowance, across all your outlets. Bookings have their own allowance. We never charge per order and never take a commission.
What happens when I reach my monthly allowance?
No new order (or booking) can be taken - online or by your staff - until the next month, and your storefront says so before a customer starts. Orders already placed are never touched. Settings shows how much of the month you have used, and moving up a plan reopens it at once.
What counts as storage?
Only the files you and your team upload: product and outlet photos, your logo, delivery photos and signatures, and the attachments your team adds. Orders, bookings and invoices never count, however many you keep, and nor do the documents you give us for verification or the pictures customers add to their orders (those are kept for a year after the order ends). You can delete old delivery photos to free space.
How is extra storage charged?
Only for what you use: for each started GB above your plan's allowance, worked out from the month's average use, and not charged until we give you 30 days' notice. Orders, bookings and customers' pictures are never refused for storage.
What does "unlimited" mean?
On Scale there is no monthly count of orders, bookings or logins. It covers running your business: not automated or test orders in bulk, storing files unrelated to it, or reselling the platform (fair use).
How do extra outlets work?
Every plan includes one outlet. On Launch and Scale each outlet after it is a month, and every outlet shares the one allowance of orders, bookings and storage.
Are tax-ready bills only in the bigger plans?
Tax-ready bills, and food labels if you sell food, are in every plan, including Starter. In India, bills carry your GSTIN with CGST, SGST or IGST worked out for you. Elsewhere, bills show your own tax, such as VAT or sales tax, at the rates you set. If you sell food, every item shows its allergens and a veg or non-veg mark (following FSSAI in India). None of this is a paid extra.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee and no fee per order - only the plan price.
How does the free trial work?
Start with a 30-day free trial - no card needed. A new business gets 30 days on Scale, with nothing to pay and nothing to cancel. Not one opened after a business of yours on Cuscato was closed: that one starts on Starter, with its storefront paused until a plan is paid. Then choose a plan and pay for it yourself, monthly or yearly: nothing is ever taken automatically. You can pay during the trial too: paid time starts when the free days end, so you lose none of them, and the plan you pay for applies at once, with its own limits. If a plan is not renewed, everything keeps working for 10 more days; after that your storefront pauses until you renew, and if it stays paused for 30 days the business is closed.
How do I pay, and is anything taken automatically?
You pay in advance, monthly or yearly, from Settings > Plan. In India you pay through our payment gateway (UPI, cards or net banking); elsewhere by card or PayPal, or, where Paddle sells your plan as our reseller, through Paddle, which adds any tax due in your country at its checkout. Each payment is one you start yourself: we never save a card or set up an automatic debit. We email you 15 and 10 days before a period ends, then every day until you renew or your storefront pauses.
What happens if I do not renew?
For 10 days after your plan (or trial) ends, everything keeps working. After that your storefront pauses: customers cannot see your products, order or book, and no new orders or bookings can be taken. You can still sign in, see and export all your records, and renew - your storefront reopens as soon as the payment is confirmed. If it stays paused for 30 days, the business is closed and its web address released: we email the date when it pauses and again a week before. Orders and invoices are kept for as long as the law requires, then deleted. Only a payment stops the closure.
Can I stop paying?
Yes. Simply do not renew at the end of a period; there is nothing to cancel. Your records stay readable until the business is closed, as above - download them from Settings before then.
What does annual billing save?
10% on twelve months, on the plan and on extra outlets.
